And no, I don't know why my site isn't working properly.

The events in this comic happened two weeks ago. 

I'm officially "Chief Reader" for a new litmag, Tobybashi. All of the stories are in first person and each has an authentic voice; that is, nothing overly "literary." It's been a rough week for me.  On Tuesday, one of my co-workers--the one I can most be myself around--was fired under grim circumstances. On Wednesday, Mumu died in my hands. On Thursday, I found out that Ryan & Milena's new cat had tons of health problems. On Friday, I found out Adrian had used again. On Saturday, Milena & I took their cat back to the shelter. I could write a full comic about each of these things--I intend to write comics about at least some of them--but this week's comic is about what happened Sunday. I was hoping Sunday would be the start of a new week but it turns out it was the worst day of them all. Read the (double length!) comic for details. 

 Actually, I find this week of bad luck (or whatever you want to call it) funny. I swear my psychiatrist set up a series of trials or something to see if the new medication was really working. It feels like my life is a cartoon before I even draw it. 

Those who know me personally, which I assume is everyone reading this, please understand that I don't want to constantly relive what happened on Sunday; that's why you're finding this out in a comic and not in an email or a phone call. 

 Please note that this comic leaves out A LOT of what was said and what happened. I hold no ill will towards anyone mentioned in this comic. I don't blame anyone. It's like the other bad things that happened this week--I want them to be someone or something's fault but they just aren't. It doesn't work like that; it's just kind of sad.
